About Fine & Dandy Dance
Indonesian-born Dandy Diwangkara originally studied under Esther Juon at Brighton’s Dance Laines. He was awarded a bursary by the Rambert School of Ballet & Contemporary Dance in London where his talent for choreography was encouraged by Artistic Director Ross McKim and former Deputy Artistic director Thérese Cantine.
While in the school, his pieces were performed to critical acclaim at the Royal Opera House’s Linbury Theatre, at London’s Olympia and Covent Garden’s Floral Hall as part of the National Dance Critics’ Awards ceremony.

Outside his own works, Dandy has performed in Anna Serrano's choreography Sonatina at the Cochrane Theatre and Secret Tate at the Tate Britain, London. He has also performed at the London Colliseum in the English National Opera’s production of Doctor Atomic, directed by Penny Woolcock and choreography by Andrew Dawson.
